Ajloun Province is Located in the Northwest Corner of the Capital Amman, (76 km) Away. Al-Souan / Ajloun Zone Is Considered One of the Most Beautiful Scenic Landscapes with a Variety of Plant Cover, Dense Forests and Environmental Diversity. and a Tourist Destination with Its Picturesque Landscapes and Monuments That Mix Between Originality & Modernity.
Therefore, the Jordanian Group of Free & Development Zones has taken responsibility for developing of Al-Souan Development Zone by forming the first nucleus for that zone in particular and Ajloun province in general. The Cable Car Project in Al-Souan / Ajloun Is Considered One of the National Pioneering Projects That Has Received Majestic Royal Patronage with the Aim of Contributing to the Sustainable Development of Ajloun Governorate, In Addition to All Support Services and Projects Associated with It.
Ajloun is Considered to be Jordan's Outlet in Summer, which is Rich in Evergreen Forests Throughout and Islamic as well as Christian Monuments Wherever You Go, in addition to Fresh Pure Air and Picturesque Nature, making this Province a Destination & a Park for Many Tourism Lovers
And It Has the Main Pillars for Tourism:
Evergreen Forest Areas: The Embarrassment that Exists Throughout Ajloun Province, as these Forests are the Best Place for Tourism and the Most Beautiful Times in the Arms of Nature.
Diversity of Tourism Activities: Includes All Types of Tourism such as Eco-Tourism in All Its Details, Historical, Religious, Cultural and Adventure Tourism.
Climate and Geographical Diversity: Characterized by Mild Weather in Summer and Cold Winter, This Climate Attracts Tourists Throughout the Year, And There Are Mountainous Heights with Varying Terrains, Some of Which Are More Than (1150 M) Above Sea Level and There Are Plains, Valleys, Plateaus and Many Springs That Are Constantly Flowing Throughout the Year.
Antiquities: Ajloun Province Has More Than (280) Archaeological Sites for Religious and Archaeological Tourism Such as Ajloun Castle and The Monastery of Mar Elias.
Landscape and Environment: Ajloun Is Characterized by Landscapes, especially in Spring, Where Plants, Evergreen Flowers, Springs, Mountains and Plains Make This Area a Suitable Place for Ecotourism.
The Existence of Ajloun Reserve: Characterized by Evergreen Oak Forests, Which Is Characterized by Enormous Biodiversity, Where the Reserve Works to Protect These Forests, Spread Environmental Awareness in the Region and Encourage Ecotourism in the Reserve & in the Province by Working to Establish a Tourist Camp to Enjoy the Area More Spending More Time, and Establish a Visitor Service Center to introduce Them to the Province and Its Archaeological Sites and Its Tourism Importance.
Ajloun region is characterized: by a unique climate in the Kingdom where it is mild in summer, cold in winter, and the average temperature in summer Reaches about (25c) degrees.
